Recent Dear Cancer Messages (What do you have to say to cancer? Let it out.)

  • I had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Beat the shit out of it. I was 11 and I was so scared. Now I'm 18 and I'm proud to be here, I never gave in, neither did my family. So dear cancer, if you can't stop me, nothing will. I will be successfull, I will marry, I will have kids and you, you sucker, are just a bad memory. You are in the past and you will stay there. What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger. So back off, you lil fuck, I'm a warrior. (click here to comment)
  • I kicked your ass. Gloves off. It was a tough fight, but I won. I received the best news any cancer patient could ever hear last week - that you are no longer a threat. That I am healthy and cancer-free. BOOYA! Take that, b!tch! from me, only to fail. I believe only good thoughts. (click here to comment)

Recent Discussion Questions (Ask anything you want on our discussion board.)

  • What can I do to heal a injury to my breast? Two yrs ago I had a lumpectomy & lymph dissection. Cancer free over a year. Yesterday I helped my family move 11 truck loads of my belongings from a storage unit and lifted a lot. At 4am I woke to a lot of pain in my bad breast and believe I've ripped the thick scar tissue under my skin apart from the tissue surrounding it. I've ice and heated and took a 800mg of Mortin. No relief yet. Sincerely, AB in MI(click here to answer)
  • Hi everyone it's been a while since I've been on here but I was recently diagnosed with the check to cancer gene and it has been suggested by my oncologist that I have a bilateral double mastectomy. I am going to get reconstruction and I just wanted to know if there was anyone in the Denver area who I could connect with? (click here to answer)
