I am a Survivor

As a wife and mother of 2 (9 yr old and 7 yr old), at 34, I never imagined cancer would be part of my story. My life has changed so much from this journey. I enjoy acting, singing, dancing, writing, watching movies, and getting hooked on a good show. I also enjoy wine, laughing, spending time with family and friends, and encouraging others via social media. This past November I was diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer. After going through a colon resection which removed the tumor and a foot of my colon, they have told me I am cancer free. No chemo needed. I am a survivor.

I haven't written in a while. Mainly I've been focused on living and not being worn down by unnecessary fear. Truth is, I've had really bad knee pain for a month now, on and off. Today, the pain spread to both knees, and behind the legs. I'm so worried about cancer showing itself again elsewhere in my body. Have you experienced bone cancer? What were your symptoms?
