I am a Survivor

I am a Stage IV cancer survivor. I contracted colon cancer in April 2013. Approximately one foot of my ascending colon was resected and designated as Stage I colon cancer. In June 2016, my third-year CT scan revealed colon cancer mets to the left lobe of my liver. I went through four rounds of neoadjuvant chemo, surgery, and twelve rounds of adjuvant chemo. I have been cancer free since November 2016.
