I've had 7 extra years, Christmas's, birthdays, and for that I'm truly grateful. The shock of being told you have upto 1 year to live without a liver transplant, looking at your 6 year old son wondering what will happen to him, it's the most terrifying feeling ever.
Thanks to an anonymous donor I got my liver and although it's a life changing event, taking tablets for life, constant infections at least I have a life & my now 13 year old son has a mother.
